Top Five tricks to Unlock Block Website from an IP Firewall?

There are certain times you can’t access your favorite site for this we will feel that the site is not working if someone near you access the same website which you can’t access there is something that you are being blocked by the webpage owner. What will you do to access the site:

1.Proxies
Proxy is hiding the existing ip address of the users and entering the webpage in some other multiple ip’s. There are large number of proxy providers on web world if you search on google you can access one. If you are working in a globalized company sometimes they may block sites like facebook, orkut etc… not to work on office times for them use proxies which will enable to work your favorite sites on work times as well. In the same way using the proxy one can hide your ip and access any webpages.

2.Restart your Modem
Once if you restart your modem your IP will be changed into a new one so that you can access the web page which is behind a firewall.

3.Google Search / Cache
When you are not able to find the webpage you need if your ip is behind a firewall then type the web url of the site on google search and then have a try most probably you can access the blocked site. If you can’t find the webpage yet then there is a button called cached on google search click on it and then you can access the pages you need.

4.IP address of the URL
With the help of selfseo one can find the ip address of the website and using the ip address on any browser you can access the webpages. In most cases one will find any block sites using this way.

5.Contact Website Owner or Wait
Someone who can’t access the blocked sites then contact the website owner through mail id to unblock the ip so that you can access the site. Sometime the website owners block ip for not to allow certain people to read their contents when they are get duplicated.

Another way is wait for a week or so then your firewall webpage can be accessed in most cases the ip firewall be taken by the website or your ip will be changed.

How to set up a Secure Wireless Broadband Connection for Laptops or PC?

In recent times Intelligence agencies found most of the terrorists were using unsecured wi-fi connections to send their emails. In order to prevent these we can set up a secure wireless broadband access. This is how to setup a Secure Wireless Broadband Connection in BSNL Dataone : -

Open the browser and type the url http://192.168.1.1.
Type username admin and password admin in login window

This window allows the user to configure security features of the wireless LAN interface. User can set the Network authentication and data encryption methods.

Step 1:

After successfully logging into CPE. Go to Wireless in the main menu and click on the Security button from the list. The following window appears:

Step 2: Select the required SSID (Service Set IDentifier) and Network Authentication. Enable WEP Encryption using the pull down menu. The following screen will appear.

Step 3:

Select encryption strength as 128bit or 64bit.
Enter the network key
- 5 ASCII characters for 64 bit encryption
- 13 ASCII characters for 128 bit encryption
Four network keys can be entered.
Select one network key as the current network key.
Enable the WPA-PSK network authentication from the pull down menu if you desire to use the security as WPA-PSK method of security. Enter the pre-shared key value in the WPA Pre-Shared Key field.
Click on Save / Apply Button

Wi-Fi Configuration in PC/Laptop

You need to configure same WEP key in your PC/Laptop which you have entered in CPE wi-fi security configuration.
For this go to the properties of Wi-Fi connection,
Select the tab Wireless Networks.
Select the wi-fi network name (more than one networks may be present in your area, identify your network by SSID name which is configured in modem. Normally the CPE model name ( say WA1003A) is factory default SSID setting) and click on Properties.
Look for field Data Encryption and network ID, select WEP as Data Encryption and enter the network ID which you have entered in CPE configuration as Encryption Key.
