Special Viruses in the sense while you use Orkut at the insertion of pen drives these viruses will spread on local disk C and the normal icon will be changed at drive C.  You will get a message on your screen that "Orkut is sending Viruses on Your Computer". From then I am cautions that I will not allow anyone to use orkut in my PC except me. So I started googled and get a suitable trick to block website without installing any software.

Those who need to protect follow the instructions below:-

1. Browse through C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.
2.  Now you find the file name Hosts
3. Open the Hosts file in notepad
4. Below "127.0.0.1 localhost"
5. Add 127.0.0.2 www.orkut.com and from then no one can access orkut in my PC expect me. You can add as many websites to block from your PC.

• First thing is check the download and upload speed which is provided by the ISP for this check a free broadband test which can give you an idea that you are maximizing the download and upload rates.

•  Always use some of the better torrent clients like bittorrent, utorrent etc…and update to the latest version as sometimes it may slash down the download rates.

• While downloading a file go for a healthy torrents as there should be more number of seeders so that you can download the files in a good speed unless if there are less numbers you will download the half and you can't download another because of no seeders affecting the low download rate as well. The P2P is when a lecher downloads a file then he becomes a seeder so to make the torrent alive one should seed after they leached. The best way to select a torrent file see the screen shot below.

• Check whether the firewall is blocking the torrents for that open your torrent client go to options -- > Preferences -- > Connections and tick the check box Add Windows Firewall exception.

• Limit the upload rate as the torrents sites are known for sharing and if you start sharing always keep the ration in high level as it comes make it to medium.

• Your bandwidth will be automatically traced out by bittorent or else just uncheck the box and make the original value. For a 256Kbps connection the global maximum connection will be 200 and the maximum number of connected peers per torrent is 50 and number of upload slots per torrent is 4. In the same way you can configure the bandwidth and connections.

• Experiment with Bittorent Protocol Encryption check with disabled, enabled and force may be sometimes you network will make bittorent some faster.
