Make Mozilla Firefox Faster for Quick Browsing?
Mozilla Firefox is the most commonly used by majority of internet users as it unique features are not available and user friendly comparing the other browsers. Normally these browsers are slow in nature and in order to avoid such delay while launching and navigating there are something you need to follow to make your Mozilla Firefox faster:
- Open your Mozilla Firefox browser.
- In the address bar type about:config
- Please be careful in this step to an extent if doesn’t give any warning just pass it through the next step.
- In the search box type pipe.
- Then click on ‘network.http.pipelining’ ‘network.http.proxy.pipelining’ and change their values from 'false' to 'true' by double clicking on the value column.
- Again click on ‘network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and change its value to 100.
- Right Click -->New-->Integer-->name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay ---> set its value to 0.
- Now search for: browser.cache.disk.capacity --> If you can’t find it then right click-->New String--> and name it to browser.cache.disk.capacity and set its value to 16000.
- By clicking a right click on Mozilla Firefox shortcut on your desktop choose properties. In the target box add/Prefetch:1 result:--> "C:\Program\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /Prefetch:1.
- Bear in mind to leave a space after firefox.exe’.
